Denver, CO, November 30, 2016 — GSIX, LLC, the U.S. subsidiary of Macedonian firm, Dzisiks Solushns DOO, has announced the acquisition of Effectuate Ventures, LLC, a Colorado-based custom software company.
Effectuate, soon to be renamed GSIX USA, was founded in 2013 by Gerrit McGowan, the former CEO/founder of charitable giving SaaS, kula.com.
“This move was an obvious one for me to make, and the timing couldn’t have been better, “ says McGowan, who is currently building a startup accelerator and innovation center with Western State Colorado University in Gunnison.
GSIX’s Pejoski concurred with McGowan. “Acquiring Effectuate just made sense for us. We have been expanding in the U.S. market for almost five years now. So as our relationship with Effectuate grew closer, we recognized the clear opportunity to grow our footprint in the region. Our leadership sees the entrepreneurial energy and growth of the Rocky Mountain region, and we are very fortunate to be a part of it.”
Financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
