2018 is just around the corner …

The feeling that 2018 is almost at our doorstep, compel us to turn back and do a little recap of the year behind us. Therefore, we are sharing this year’ highlights with you in the latest blog post for 2017.

At the same time, as one of the most beautiful times of the year, when the euphoria of new beginnings is at its highest level, we are writing down our New Year’s resolutions with promises to work smart, so this time next year we can share them again with you as fulfilled.

Definitely, as one of the biggest changes we made this year is the relocation of our offices. We feel comfortable in a new space that satisfies all of our needs, including gaming space, spacey cuisine for interesting and productive conversations during meals and drinking coffee as well as a conference room where the best ideas are created and then turn into reality.

Among other meaningful things that happened to us during 2017 is the workout initiative for a healthier lifestyle of the team. Everyone of us has the opportunity to visit the gym and devote to our well-being.

Going back to the very beginning of the year it is worth mentioning our team attendance to multiple international events including Denver Startup Week, Startup Grind NYC,  PHP conference in Serbia – where we had the chance to meet many prominent experts from the PHP-World and having a talk with PHP creator – Rasmus Lerdorf. Another event-related thing we are very proud of is the organization of the first Hacktoberfest in Skopje, Macedonia – an event dedicated to the open source community and supported by the worlds’ reputable GitHub and Digital Ocean.

Summing up 2017, we are proud to confirm that throughout the year we constantly upgraded our knowledge, enhanced our experience and worked on the mission to become better seniors in our passion by strengthening our expanding collaborations in New York and Colorado, too. And this is something we’ll continue to do in the year ahead.

This year in a nutshell – it was successful and great!

Out with the old, in with the new: may you be happy the whole year through.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

From all of us at GSIX.
